Spring Has Sprung....Sort Of

Hey guys! With the weather finally starting to perk up and myself attempting to be somewhat productive today, I thought I'd make a post about a couple different outfits to wear when transitioning from winter to spring. I don't know about you (but I'm feelin' 22), but where I live winter is still holding on with all its might. The sun is actually beginning to shine and the temperature's rising, but that pesky wind is keeping it fairly cold out. So, I decided to give you some ideas (with photos!) on what clothes will look cute and springy, but keep you comfortable at the same time.
Pants- Aerie/Shirt- Strawberry
(This blogging thing is more difficult than it looks! The wind was blowing and it was kinda sorta freezing, but I persevered and took some photos. Like I mentioned in my first post, I do not have a high quality camera, but you work with what you've got, right? Anyway, onto the outfits and what not.)

Even if the weather doesn't seem to be saying "SPRING!", I think we can all take the initiative to say "SPRING!" with some bright colors. Ergo, these coral pants. You don't want to get too crazy, so I went with a neutral grey shirt.

Shoes- Target
These went pretty well with the shirt, so I chucked them on. I think oxfords are adorable and will go with mostly anything. They do kind of seem like a shoe geared more toward fall time, but oh well. They're cute during all seasons, in my opinion.

Jacket- Unknown/Scarf- Claire's
Obviously if it's too cold you can throw on a jacket or even a scarf. I love light denim at the moment.
Onto the next outfit!

Dress- jcpenney/Army Jacket- Forever 21/Shoes- Charlotte Russe
We're getting into more formal, edgy territory here. At least, I think so. I'm not really sure where I would wear this. If I was going to wear it today, I would've definitely had to put on tights. This dress is adorable on its own, but the weather just wouldn't allow it. I'm obsessed with my military/army jacket though. I wish I could wear it with everything.

So hipster, omgerz.

Here's the lovelies. These shoes. I love them. A lot.
$10 at Charlotte Russe, can't get much better than that, folks.

Cardigan- Target
If you want a more preppy, conservative look then you can go with a plain cardigan and some more low key shoes.

These are pretty awesome too. They're like those Chelsea boots that seem to be quite popular in the UK, except with a leopard print. Every time I wear these, I get compliments galore. I haven't really seen anything quite like these since I bought them. Super comfy as well.

Hopefully that gave you some ideas or a little inspiration as to what to wear this spring! If anyone has any requests for me to blog about or advice on how I'm doing, let me know. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I have you have a lovely day/afternoon/evening!
:)
